My name is Khanh, I have been with Voyager since its inception and am in charge of the development department. To further expand Voyager, a popular workplace for employees, not only the management but also the staff are making great efforts. Bui Phan Cong Thanh - Mobile Developer

Hello, my name is Thanh. I have been working at Voyager as a mobile developer since November 2021. In my previous job, I had to continuously develop using iOS Native for about 3 years and had no chance to experience other technologies. I decided to change jobs because I wanted to develop myself. I saw Voyager's job posting and felt that this was the kind of job I was looking for, so I applied.

During the interview, interviewer explained the project and work in detail, and my desire to join Voyager grew stronger. Until now, “I am very glad that I chose Voyager among all the companies that invited me to work.”
At Voyager, I am a member of the mobile app development team. In my previous job, I had more than 3 years of experience with iOS Native, and I didn't find it difficult to develop with iOS Native, but when doing things like Android Native, I still lacked a lot of knowledge. Voyager has many projects, and I can develop functions using a framework that I have never used in my previous job. I am very excited to be able to acquire a variety of specialized knowledge. Currently, we usually use Flutter to develop apps for both iOS and Android to save development time and labor costs. However, cross-platform frameworks like Flutter and React Native fully support native iOS/Android apps. There are some features that cannot be replaced and therefore need to be developed in native apps. I have been able to develop on multiple platforms and am very grateful for the valuable opportunity to improve my skills.
At the workplace, the most popular location is the drink and snack bar in the office. In addition to drinks and snacks, there are also many books on the bookshelf. Employees often use it to refresh their mood during stressful times. One of the reasons why I wanted to become a full-time employee as soon as possible during my probation period, aside from the job content, was the atmosphere at the workplace. When it's hard to develop a function or when I'm worried about which technology to develop, I consult with other team members and I can solve the problem and learn a lot from others, for which I am grateful. Young and I feel I can spend each day meaningfully, even though I have a lot of work to do and the deadlines are short, thanks to the support of friendly colleagues and especially because my boss cares a lot about subordinates.

Diep Vi Cuong - Mobile Developer

Hello, my name is Cuong. I joined Voyager about a year ago and am working as a mobile app developer. I develop mobile apps for Voyager using iOS Native, Android Native, Flutter, etc., but I am most confident in Flutter (is it what I am best at?). Among all the projects I have done, I am most satisfied with the travel guide app with chat and comment functions. (My favorite app is the travel guide app with chat and comment functions.)

We developed it in a short time, but we worked hard to make it look like a popular app. When I provide or release something, I get compliments from customers, which I think is the best reward. I want to improve my mobile app development skills, and I strive to improve my skills by carefully considering customer satisfaction and a good experience. I feel that Voyager is not just a workplace but also my second family.
The boss always cares, takes care of me, and I also do everything to improve both the skills and physical condition of the employees. We regularly hold study sessions and sports days. I also receive a lot of attention from my colleagues. We are close like brothers, helping each other at work and eating together even outside of work hours. Salaries and bonuses are paid according to ability and effort, so I want to contribute more.

Truong Thi An - Front-end Developer

Hello everyone. My name is An. It has been nearly five months since I joined Voyager as a front-end engineer.
*Why I applied to Voyager: When I was looking for a job on a job search site like Topcv or Itviec, I chose it as the first option because it was the workplace I was looking for, it offers many allowances, and it is fully equipped with social insurance.

*Review of Voyager: My first impression of the company is that it is a comfortable and friendly workplace.

Nguyen Duy Khanh - Senior Web Application Developer

Hello everyone. My name is Nguyễn Duy Khánh. I joined Voyager in May 2021 and work as a senior-level web engineer. One of the reasons I chose Voyager as my first choice when I was looking for a job was because the development manager, who has a wide range of knowledge in specialized technologies, was the person I interviewed with. At that time, I thought that I would definitely be able to grow in a short period of time if I became his subordinate, so although I received job offers from several companies, I decided to join Voyager as soon as I received an offer from him.

At Voyager, we develop in PHP, Ruby, Python, and GoLang. My daily work involves meeting with other team members, carefully analyzing specifications to ensure smooth development, and reporting the day's daily report and the next day's schedule to the chief.
My first motivation is that I can improve my skills with every project I have developed so far. I have also improved my front-end development skills by having the opportunity to come into contact with new technologies every day. I feel that my back-end development skills are also improving.
My future goal is to broaden my expertise and take charge of projects in other development languages. In addition to my expertise, I am also studying English and Japanese on my own, as I am aiming to become a development department manager.

Pham Huu Ngoc - Web Application Developer

My name is Ngoc, and I have been a member of the Ruby on Rails team since January 2022.
My job at Voyager is to develop websites and fix bugs in published web applications.
Although I do not understand Japanese at all, there are interpreter staff who provide solid support until the project is completed, so the work progresses smoothly.

What I like most about Voyager is that each team organizes a study session once a week at the company's expense, where they can learn unknown or not well-understood knowledge from experienced seniors. I think this will be a great learning experience, where you can ask what you want to ask, and everyone can discuss together.
I am also grateful for allowing our staff to attend external workshops to improve their skills.
Next is the work atmosphere. I do not feel a barrier between new and experienced staff. Everyone gets along well. Not only your boss but also your colleagues ask, 'How is the project progressing?' Are you okay? and so on. So when I have a problem, I feel comfortable talking to them about what is bothering me.
I am aiming for a team leader position or higher, so I will work harder than yesterday.
